How parts returns, refunds and re-work are handled at Magnivo Plumbing.
Services we have performed
If our workmanship fails within twelve months of the original visit, our standard remedy is re-work at no labour cost (see the workmanship guarantee in our terms). Where re-work is not practical, we may offer a partial or full labour refund at our discretion.
Parts we have supplied
Parts and fixtures we supply (faucets, water heaters, valves, hoses) are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty for the period stated on the box. Within that period:
- Defective on install — we replace the part at no charge, including labour to swap it.
- Failure within 30 days — we manage the manufacturer claim on your behalf and re-install the replacement without labour fee.
- Failure after 30 days, within manufacturer warranty — we assist with the claim; replacement labour is charged at our standard rate.
Parts you supplied
If you bought the fixture yourself and we installed it, we do not warrant the part. The manufacturer warranty stays with you; we are happy to help diagnose whether the failure is the part or the install.
Refund timeline
Where a refund is agreed, it is paid by bank transfer within fourteen working days of the credit being agreed in writing. Refunds are paid to the same bank account that paid the original invoice.
Items we do not refund
- Time billed for diagnosis where the issue was correctly identified and reported, even if you chose not to proceed with the recommended fix.
- Special-order parts (custom-finish fittings, non-stocked heaters) once ordered.
- Travel time to remote sites already invoiced.
How to raise a claim
Email [email protected] with the original job date, the address, a description of the issue, and (ideally) photos or a short video. We acknowledge within two working days and aim to resolve every claim within fourteen working days.
